fnpIt's funny, they look like a different pair of pants in each pic. I like the waistline in pic 2, but find the legs a little too big in pic 1. I would go for a slimmer leg or lower waist with big leg. They do seem like nice culotte/shpants though... try them on with a few tops if you are still not 100% about them.
I am going to post all my shpants (short pants) when my internet behaves. There was a big article in the globe and mail style section on how most women should not wear them so I would love to have my 3 pairs of shpants critiqued a little. It's so comfy to have those breezy legs....

I agreed 100% with a's eval. too big in pic 1 but nice waist in pic 2. Doesn't matter now anyway, since they are long gone.
I think I have only one pair of shpants - the ones I bought with Superstar in NYC - are those shpants? Or just long short things? I can't tell.
Are my jeans from below shpant-jeans? (sheans? jants?)
