Flouncy Skirt

This is the skirt I am going to wear to my singles' party, with the low-cut shirt I spoke about in the last post. You see the problem with the shirt (right between my breasts, yep seeing that far in is a problem for me!!

This is the same skirt with a new shirt I bought today. It is a halter top, and has a nice back. It is more decent than the first.

Closet Ill equiped for Interviews

I have a major meeting/interview on Wednesday. For a big job with a big client. The clients are artists. I am an artist. We are all in the fashion industry. I have to look professional but cool. Capable and creative. This is the best out of the bunch (I know, slim pickings).

This Went Over Well

I left the house not knowing what to make of my clothes. I had on this new shirt I was still unsure about.
Hair was up because I had been Dragonboating all day and couldn't be bothered to wash it before racing again tomorrow. Earrings were worn as a half-assed attempt to accessorize.
Everyone told me they love the shirt and some said the whole outfit worked. It just amazed me, because I had been feeling very "what not to wear" as I left the house. Is it as good as they say? I still feel iffy.

More Summer Fun

Since we are posting our favorite summer outfits. Here is one of my latest...

A light weight cotton skirt perfect for work or play.
Only not sure about what shoes to wear with it any suggestions?

Take Two: The Skirt Revisited

Can you see a difference? I can see a difference!
If you can believe it - this is the Extra Small.. .these skirts are weird... jersey material so really stretchy. Anyway, this one is much better.

Also, here was my outfit today. I thought I looked cute, and that doesn't happen often, so I felt I should put it up here, just so you can see how cute I can look when I try. (t-shirt is the same as above b/c its the same day and I'm lazy)

And now the question remains - am I brave enough to put up the bathing suit I just bought???

Uh.... no.

Funky Belt

I love this belt. It is made from seeds and beans found all over South & Central America, all put together by a lovely couple from Argentina who I met in Panama. I normally wear this belt low, not strung through the pant loops. Once in the winter, I put it over a long black turtleneck. It actually looked kind of sleek with jeans, I thought... an others seemed to think. It's fun to purchase unique little items while traveling. I feel special wearing them, too!

Back of Pants Front of Skirt

I just got this today (the skirt) way too expensive for what it is, but literally feels like I am wearing nothing.

Art thou abandoning this blog?

OK, girls, we haven't blogged here in too long. I want to know what you guys are wearing every day, not just new clothes, or special occasion clothes!! Post, post, post!! And invite others too! What gives!

Anyway.. I certainly need more fashion advice than the next girl, so I will resume posting as much as I feel like. So there, poo poo heads.

This is a top I bought at Risque on Bloor St. and I really enjoy wearing it. I have to admit, I am into the polkadot thing.
