More Summer Fun
Since we are posting our favorite summer outfits. Here is one of my latest...
A light weight cotton skirt perfect for work or play. Only not sure about what shoes to wear with it any suggestions?

This is great stuff. The green top is the perfect shade of summer, but I can't see whether there are straps above the shoulders - I assume there are, which is good. Tube tops must die. The skirt is very gay. (Read "happy", "jovial"). There appears to be something a trite Mediterranean about it - something old country that's very straw-and-cornfields, which of course becomes the season well. An excellent, colorful choice that graces the summer in all of its simple joie-de-vivre.
The shoes, well... Obviously, no sneakers, and please-oh-please no flip-flops. Since this little number befits a number of occasions, the footwear would be dependant on said occasion. Overall, and I hate to say it, a breezy, non-killer wedge would go right well with this - no stark blacks or dark browns; think beige and shades of green. There are also these, uh,... heck I don't know what they're called: they're essentially flip-flops with a token heel - those'd be quite nice too. But if you're feeling bold, you happen to be traipsing in a field of daisies and you don't mind being as field-and-stream as this outfit suggests: go barefoot! That gets my vote. Very Amazon-out-in-the-wild.
With an outfit like that you can't lose anyway. You go, girl!
Yes, this is a great skirt!! I would wear it with many colours, or throw on a longer tee or wifebeater under a shorter one for the layered look, which admittedly I do like, but am not yet equipped for (how many T-shirts and tanks can one girl own???)
I disagree with R'nP, I like tube tops and hope this is one. It looks great!!
t is indeed a tube top - which I too am a great fan of! Sorry PooperHeimer, got to disagree with you on this one. Tube tops are wonderful, ESPECIALLY when you are trying to avoid tan lines to look good in a dress next week!
