This Went Over Well

I left the house not knowing what to make of my clothes. I had on this new shirt I was still unsure about.
Hair was up because I had been Dragonboating all day and couldn't be bothered to wash it before racing again tomorrow. Earrings were worn as a half-assed attempt to accessorize.
Everyone told me they love the shirt and some said the whole outfit worked. It just amazed me, because I had been feeling very "what not to wear" as I left the house. Is it as good as they say? I still feel iffy.

The straps on the shirt are awsome. So chic. The earings add the pizazz that is not even needed but welcomed and then the jeans just keep it real.

A+ on the outfit. Not sure that the silver neclace goes. But not offended by it.

Were strappy sandals worn?

I think the top is great. Breezy and light for the season, and the top part of the back is original. I think for a necklace some loose fitting, small hippy beads would have been a great match - I agree with Madame Shenanigan that the silvery thing you have on could have been better, but it's discreet, and no train wreck by any stretch of the imagination. The earrings looked a bit off, but whatever.

The shirt being the centerpiece, you could have worn anything with it, but ultimately I think a long flowing skirt would have been best. Of course if you're going to go ROWING or whatever it was you were doing that day, perhaps shorts would have been the way to go... Nice girls like you really shouldn't wear jeans all that much. Jeans were worn by the English a long time ago, because they were the inexpensive, designate working trousers of the proletariat. Jeans should be worn for digging holes and crawling under cars to change the oil. Women shouldn't wear jeans unless they plan on pouring concrete to redo their front walk.

But that's just anal-retentive me, darling; Tom Dick and Harry out there would all think you look splendid, and this being 2006, they'd be right.

Shut UP, I have that necklace. How many similarities is it gonna take?... ;o)

LOVE the shirt. Really, it's very cute, and looks great on you. Some people couldn't pull it off, but you did it just right. Well done!

the necklace... i wrote a post called "if you don't already wear a horseshoe, you should".... it was one of my very first posts.

i saw a psychic once and it was eerie... and she made that comment. I never take my horseshoe off now!! If I do, I put it in my pocket or around my ankle. I haven't had good luck, per se... but I haven't come into any major harm either!!

I know it doesn't go with everything, but I feel a little weird taking it off.... though sometimes i do

Oh, and.... Heimer, what's the problem with jeans? We need jeans to stay sane. Jeans are a girls' best friend that we can always count on. What's the deal?

I have to say just one more little thing. DAMN! I have a good tan!!
