I disagree with hick- it's the leggings/socks combo. I say one or the other. That little bit of leg skin showing shortens your leg lenghth and makes you look choppy. (totally don't mind the shoes, it's a "caj" look.)
Leave the socks off, and even the leggins just go with the shoes skirt appropriate undergarments and the t-shirts, if you keep the leggins go with some fun chunky jewelery keep it very retro....
what isn't wrong with this outfit? The proportions are totally off- and it completely cuts you in half. Loose the leggings or the skirt- it's ain't working.
I think the outfit would look wayyy better if you loose the leggings & the shoes, pick out a cute pair of ballet flats just wear that WITHOUT the leggings [ soo cute ]!
the layering of 2 shirts and skirt + tights shortens your frame. stick with 1 bottom piece at a time and you should look great! For instance, the same top with bike shorts, or long skirt (depending on how skillful you're on your bike ;) ), or simply a classic pair of jeans
I have just returned from living in Europe for over six years and this fashion is BIG in the Scandinavian countries. The problem is 100% the shoes. With a pair of black flat (ballet type) shoes you would blend into Copenhagen like butter on toast :o) SueB
the outfit is blah! i love the necklace but please the leggins and the shoes wear jeans and keep the shirts with the neck. but the other shirt behide the top shirt put aqua cami with sequence.
try without the leggings and some other shoes.. do you change when you get to work.? its all good apart from the leggings and the shoes definitely your legs don't suit leggings. leggings tend to make people shorter you could only get away with them if you were on the beach or something to be quite frank. hope this helped!
too many things breaking up your body. lose the leggings and it would be better, mid calf leggings almost never work. also, too many dark colors of the same tone.
I think its the shoes with the socks and the leggings otherwise it very cute and the necklace adds just the right touch! So just drop the socks and leggings. And hunni experiment with a few more shoes x x x
personally i would wear the whole thing cmplete. i would wear rit to work (if i didnt have a uniform) to school (college) and to family reunions, ect... i love this look.. just dont try to make it look preppy. it more of a; i'm comfy with myself and i'm punk with a bit of class.

did I mention I had to bike to work...
Does that justify the shoes?
t's 100% the shoes. They don't work at all.
The rest of the outfit is cute!

it's the leggings and the shoes. I don't know how to fix it.
maybe take of the skirt so its long shirt and leggings. maybe instead of the skirt and leggings wear jeans just don't wear the whole outfit in public!
ok true - if you take the socks off it might be ok... I when I said "the shoes" I really did mean the shoes AND socks...
the socks are the problem for me it would be really cute if you had shoes that don't need socks like flats or sandels

the outfit is cute, very 80's but ditch the socks and shoes and throw on come cute ballet flats...

the shoes are very masculine.
also the skirt/tights makes your legs look shorter/stubby. dont mean to sound harsh.

hidaway socks will leave you with that punkish hipster look you seem to be going for. :) I dig the leggings with the skirt!

I think it's definitely the skirt,it's way too frumpy for the rest of your outfit and doesn't go with your shape.
either, remove the leggings and wear with those shoes, or keep the leggings and wear a cute pair of ballet flats in red or black!
Wear a pair of boots/ankle boots. The VANS sneakers just don't work.
